NNRC to host Largescale
« on: May 04, 2012, 12:48:59 AM »

The NNRC club in Preston Lancashire is set to introduce largescale racing in to their regular series.  The next meeting will be on the 20th of May and if enough of you show up you will get a heat!

This could be a much needed boost for largescale racing in the North West so please do your best to get in touch with the club and show your interest, better still, book in on the 20th and have a play!

We got our own heat of 9 cars at this new track but only 3 made it to the end of the 30 min final, the double jumps were too severe for largescale cars (stevo snapped his chassis in half trying to clear them!), the front hub sheared off my car and other drivers suffered breakages that wouldn't normally occur. That said this was the first visit and the club are keen for us to return on a regular basis so hopefully they will address the track issues before our next visit.
