Have to say.... I wont be rushing out to get these, mostly because i have never had a problem with the pin coming out on the CVD's.... if anything i've always had a problem getting the pins out due to the amount of red threadlock i always put in them  :D :D

Not sure how these would give more steering as there are stops on the steering hubs  ;) may be you could cut them of
I also will not be buying them as my mod with the nylon sleeve works a treat!

right arrowMCD New CVD Axles Comparison - NEW Vs OLD

We have put together this post to let you all see the differences between the new and old V4 CVD system. The picture below clearly shows the increased operating angle-

To get the best out of the new system you will need to dremel a small amount of material from your existing CVD Dogbone. Shown below -

Please note that the new CVD axle fits dirctly onto your existing driveshaft with no modification required, but due to the increased operating angle it is best if you gently relieve the driveshaft slot in the areas shown above.

This picture shows the difference in pin angle once the drive shaft is modified -

Finally, you can see the improvement in the design of the axle here -

The improvements offer much tighter low speed steering, smooth operation (due to the drive shaft being able to float on the pin) and much improved strength.

Hope this helps,

Team RossMod.

The Majority of the Factory team parts won't be widely on the shelf until early next year , a lot of parts
were tested in the german races this year , constant modifications are also on the go with bits ,so you can
experiment alongside or hang on a bit for the refined version of whatever . ;)

Cool improvements. I will buy some cups soon

I think moding the dogbones like this + new axle can give even more working angle

I run my standard cups with this dogbones for about 8 mounth. Everything is ok

Hi All,

Simply fitting the new production axles improves the strength and steering response no end.

You can just buy the new drive shafts as well, but as it is such a simple modification we thought it would help you all to save some money by using your original shafts.

The new factory team parts are fully developed and tested components and are only put on sale once the development work is finished and MCD are happy with the results :D

RossMod would like to offer a free modification service.

If you purchase the new axles from ourselves and send us the old shafts we will modify them and fit the axles at no extra cost.

We understand that some of you may not want to grind the driveshafts and so we have decided to do it for you. That way you don't need to buy new driveshafts to get the best out of this new CVD axle.

Hope this helps  :D
