Welcome to Grafil Bodies
« on: August 09, 2014, 12:54:53 PM »

I'd just like to welcome the guys from Grafil Bodies as our new site sponsor to the MCD Racing Forum.

Yes, we all know they had a tough time in the past, and there are still a lot of haters about, but i have allowed them back on mostly because i don't hold grudges for ever... let us forget, and hopefully move forward as a lot of others have done.

Thanks,
Franco.

K...., thank you posting something that i don't have to delete  8) 8)    ::)

But, no i really am not the only one doesn't hold grudges... you'll be surprised to know there are many, unfortunately they just don't post in fear of being harassed by the haters!!  Did you not watch the EC2014, if i'm not mistaken there were a few there that like the products.

But anyway, the forum model i run here is not about banning people just because they have a different opinion than my own... all members are welcome to post, and the same goes for sponsors including Grafil Bodies.

If you have a complaint with Grafil Bodies, don't whinge about it on here publicly... send them a pm or email.

Franco if everyone with a complaint about grafil bodies sent them a PM i would think that his in box

would soon be full. but no doubt as before all complaints would fall on deaf ears.......so now we must

all endure being bombarded with dozens and dozens of just pictures of his wares......

but that of course is just my opinion

I have nothing good or bad to add regarding Grafil, other than I do like the Grafil Losi SC body..  But from the tone of some posts on the subject of Grafil bodies, maybe some facts on how your product has evolved, changed or improved may be beneficial for all on this forum.  Potential customers of Grafil who have no bias, and previous customers that do - good or bad.

Just an idea...

P.s.  Would be good to see a modular type shell for the rr5.  Something where you can replace the damaged parts, rather than the whole shell or a wet and dry / hot or cold weather interchangeable section.. But would still need to look like a factory finish buggy - rather than something you'd expect the A Team to build in a shed :-)

Hi,thanks for your post!
Regarding the modular body, like our LOSI Extreme or similar, isn't good on a buggy body because, talking about the RR5,this car don't have a cage,so if you made a modular body, the sections where you'll change the part, will be exposed to crack very easily, because isn't a body fitted directly on a cage,so regarding the buggy body, the best way is always to made in a single piece  :good:

We don't think to made a body like 1\8 shape...
We have our new G-Revo body designed to improve to the max,the aerodinamic, the cooling inside the car and the handlingh...this body had during the Efra 2014 a very good result during all the heats and races.
